Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced HVAC Service Technician to join our dynamic team. You'll be working in the fast-paced, always evolving construction industry, where you will be constantly challenged and given the opportunity to make a big impact. Duties and Responsibilities

  • Installing, maintaining, and repairing heating, ventilation, cooling, and refrigeration units for both commercial and residential customers. This includes air conditioning systems, chillers, heat pumps, and other HVAC equipment.
  • Diagnosing and repairing faults in HVAC systems, ensuring they operate at optimal efficiency.
  • Performing routine maintenance tasks such as replacing filters, lubricating parts, and inspecting electrical wiring.
  • Responding to emergency call-outs, quickly identifying the problem and implementing a suitable solution.
  • Providing technical support and advice to customers, explaining complex HVAC issues in a clear, understandable manner.
  • Ensuring all work is carried out in accordance with company procedures and adheres to health and safety regulations.
  • Keeping accurate records of work performed, materials used, and reporting any issues encountered.

Requirements

  • A minimum of 3-5 years of experience as an HVAC Service Technician.
  • A thorough understanding of HVAC systems, including installation, maintenance, and repair.
  • Experience working with commercial HVAC systems and chillers is essential.
  • Proficiency in diagnosing and fixing mechanical faults.
  • A valid driver's license and the ability to travel to various job sites.
  • Strong customer service skills, with the ability to explain complex technical issues in a clear, non-technical manner.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
  • Knowledge of current health and safety regulations.
  • HVAC certification is preferred but not essential.
