Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced HVAC Service Technician to join our dynamic team. Duties and Responsibilities
- Installing, maintaining, and repairing heating, ventilation, cooling, and refrigeration units for both commercial and residential customers. This includes air conditioning systems, chillers, heat pumps, and other HVAC equipment.
- Diagnosing and repairing faults in HVAC systems, ensuring they operate at optimal efficiency.
- Performing routine maintenance tasks such as replacing filters, lubricating parts, and inspecting electrical wiring.
- Responding to emergency call-outs, quickly identifying the problem and implementing a suitable solution.
- Providing technical support and advice to customers, explaining complex HVAC issues in a clear, understandable manner.
- Ensuring all work is carried out in accordance with company procedures and adheres to health and safety regulations.
- Keeping accurate records of work performed, materials used, and reporting any issues encountered.
Requirements
- A minimum of 3-5 years of experience as an HVAC Service Technician.
- A thorough understanding of HVAC systems, including installation, maintenance, and repair.
- Experience working with commercial HVAC systems and chillers is essential.
- Proficiency in diagnosing and fixing mechanical faults.
- A valid driver's license and the ability to travel to various job sites.
- Strong customer service skills, with the ability to explain complex technical issues in a clear, non-technical manner.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
- Knowledge of current health and safety regulations.
- HVAC certification is preferred but not essential.
