Experienced Heavy Duty Diesel Mechanic

About the role

We are seeking experienced Diesel Mechanics to join our team at TCI RENTAL AND LEASING. Ideal candidates will have 3 to 4+ years of experience and a valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair systems including Powertrain, motor, and transmission.
• Tuneups, cooling engine accessories, alts, belts, AC system, air compressors, fuel pumps, power steering, injectors, harness seals, hydraulic systems, PTO's, pumps, plumbing, drive line components.
• Suspension including airbags, shocks, leaf springs, leveling valves, air systems, differentials, driveshafts, steering systems (pitman, draglink, tie rod ends, assembly, kingpins, hubs, axles, seals, bearings).
• HVAC systems (certification preferred): AC, heat, electrical, lights, ADAS, SCR, DPF, DEF systems, diagnostic of sensors, harness, filters.
• Computer diagnostics using Incite, Tech Tool, Diagnostic Link.

Requirements

Minimum Requirements: - 4 to 5+ years Diesel Engine Repair - Self-motivated & Leadership skills - Available for On Call Rotation

Qualifications

Must possess a valid driver's license.

Skills

Expertise in diagnosing and repairing various systems including powertrain, motor, and transmission; suspension; HVAC systems; and computer diagnostics.
