Experienced Fire Alarm Service Technician

About the role

The Fire Alarm Service Technician will perform service calls including installation of DynaNet, troubleshooting, and maintenance of fire alarm systems. Responsibilities include ensuring systems meet quality standards, maintaining a professional and safe environment, responding promptly to customer issues, and effectively communicating with all parties involved.

Responsibilities

• Install and service fire alarm systems efficiently and effectively
• Maintain systems to minimize downtime and maximize performance
• Operate, test, troubleshoot, and program fire alarm systems
• Document work according to industry codes and standards
• Hand and computer program fire alarm panels
• Follow DynaFire's policies and procedures
• Train customers on proper equipment use
• Operate test equipment such as Volt Meter, Ohm Meter, Oscilloscope, Multimeter, Tone Generator, and Battery Tester

Requirements

• Two-year electronics degree or equivalent experience
• Working knowledge of computers and communications systems
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office

The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, dependable, and possess strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills. They should also be able to respond to customer issues promptly and effectively communicate with all parties involved.
