Experienced Fire Alarm Service Technician
About the role
The Fire Alarm Service Technician will perform service calls including the installation of DynaNet, troubleshooting, and maintenance of fire alarm systems. Responsibilities include ensuring minimum downtime and maximum performance through efficient and professional service.
Responsibilities
- Install and service fire alarm systems meeting high quality standards.
- Communicate effectively with customers, dealing with those requiring high levels of patience.
- Train and instruct customers on the proper use of the equipment.
- Operate, test, troubleshoot, and program fire alarm systems using appropriate test equipment.
- Follow DynaFire's policies and procedures.
- Hand and computer program fire alarm panels commonly installed by DynaFire.
Requirements
- Two-year electronics degree or equivalent combination of education and related field experience.
- A working knowledge of computers and communications systems.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, dependable, and possess great interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
Skills
The successful candidate will demonstrate proficiency in operating, testing, troubleshooting, and programming fire alarm systems, as well as the ability to effectively communicate and train others.
