Experienced Finance and Accounting Management Consultant

About the role

We are seeking talent with Finance and Accounting consulting experience to join our Corporate & Shared Services team. Experienced consultants are expected to have the leadership, project management, and client relationship skills necessary to successfully manage a variety of project types and sizes.

Responsibilities

• Work on small project teams to identify, and often implement, solutions to client problems and challenges.
• Project teams are typically composed of three or four consultants and a partner.
• Collaborate with experienced ScottMadden consultants and partners to maximize learning and enable meaningful project contributions.

Qualifications

• Practical understanding of Finance and Accounting processes, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general accounting, fixed assets, and financial planning and analysis, and supporting technologies.
• Knowledge of leading practice Finance and Accounting solutions, shared service and global business service delivery models, processes, technologies, and organizational structures.
• Experience in assessing, designing, implementing, and improving Finance and Accounting delivery models.
• Experience in overseeing/delivering technology implementations and digital transformations including strategy and business case, requirements gathering, vendor selection, testing, training, and deployment.
• Strong project and resource management skills.
• Relevant experience in creating project deliverables.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Advanced problem-solving and analytical skills.

Requirements

• MBA or other relevant advanced degree preferred.
• Finance and Accounting consulting experience (3+ years preferred).
• Experience in Shared Services is preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office programs (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Visio, Project and Outlook).
