Experienced Electrical Estimator/Engineering

About the role

Responsible for preparing detailed estimates and budgets for electrical projects, coordinating with clients and contractors, and ensuring compliance with industry standards.

Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate cost estimates for electrical installations
• Review project specifications and drawings to ensure feasibility and compliance with codes
• Communicate with clients to understand project requirements and scope
• Collaborate with subcontractors to manage project timelines and budgets
• Ensure adherence to safety protocols and quality standards

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
• Minimum 5 years of experience in electrical estimating/engineering
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license
• Ability to travel up to 25%

Skills

• Proficient in AutoCAD or similar drafting software
• Knowledge of NEC (National Electrical Code)
• Experience with project management tools
