Clarke Power Services, an industry leader and OE provider for over 60 years, has multiple positions available for experienced Diesel Technicians in the Cincinnati area. Mobile and in-shop opportunities are available. If you possess Allison experience or training, openings on our Allison Transmission team are also available.

Responsibilities

  • Perform thorough and detailed PM services and inspections.
  • Conduct troubleshooting and diagnostics, including the ability and experience using multiple diagnostics software platforms (e.g., check engine lights, ABS lights).
  • Perform bumper-to-bumper repairs, including HVAC, brake foundation (ABS), drivetrain (driveshafts and rear ends), electrical repair, and lighting repairs.
  • Complete repair narratives and paperwork with attention to detail.
  • Work independently while demonstrating strong leadership skills and excellent customer service and communication.
  • Implement and enforce Health and Safety rules, regulations, policies, procedures, and prescribed instructions.

Requirements

  • Industry experience of 3 years or more preferred.
  • Valid driver’s license with a good record (no more than 2 moving violations and/or at-fault accidents in the last 3 years; no drug or alcohol-related convictions in the past 5 years).
  • CDL is a plus (+$1.00/hour offered).
  • ASE certification or OE training/certifications are a plus.
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States without requiring work authorization sponsorship.

Physical and Safety Requirements

  • Frequent movement, standing, walking, and sitting.
  • Frequent use of hands to touch, handle, and feel, and reach with hands and arms.
  • Ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 50 lbs and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 lbs with assistance.
  • Ability to read and write reports.

Pay

  • Competitive hourly pay with a hiring bonus of up to $2000 (based on experience).
  • CDL holders receive an additional $1.00/hour.
  • 2nd shift positions include an 8% shift differential.
  • Weekly paychecks.

Schedule

  • 1st and 2nd shift positions available.
  • 2nd shift employees work a 4-day work week (4 - 10 hour days).
