Responsibilities
- Provide technical service to vehicles and equipment.
- Read job orders, observe, and listen to vehicles in operation to determine malfunctions and plan work procedures.
- Examine protective guards, loose bolts, and specified safety devices on trucks, and make adjustments as needed.
- Tag all warranty parts and returns to the warranty clerk.
- Attend training classes and stay updated on factory technical bulletins.
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with customers to enhance overall customer satisfaction.
- Work a 40-hour work week each and every week.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
- Possess own tools.
- 3 years of fleet or dealership mechanic experience.
- Able to obtain a Class A or Class B driver’s license.
- Desire to train and progress to the top.
- Able to work in a team environment.
- Clean DMV. Please attach DMV printout with resume.
Qualifications
This position requires a high school diploma or equivalent (GED), possession of own tools, and 3 years of fleet or dealership mechanic experience. Applicants must also be able to obtain a Class A or Class B driver’s license and have a clean DMV. Riverview is an equal opportunity employer.
