Experienced Diesel Technician

Job Overview

LV Petroleum is seeking an Experienced Diesel Technician to join their maintenance team at TA/LV Petroleum in Robertsdale, AL. The Diesel Technician will be responsible for maintaining and repairing diesel vehicles and equipment.

Key Responsibilities

• Performing routine maintenance and repairs on diesel engines
• Ensuring optimal functionality of diesel-powered equipment
• Diagnosing and troubleshooting mechanical and electrical issues
• Keeping accurate records of maintenance and repair work conducted
• Staying updated with the latest diesel technology and repair techniques
• Ensuring compliance with safety regulations and industry standards

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training in diesel technology is preferred
• Experience in diesel repair and maintenance
• Strong problem-solving and diagnostic skills
• Able to work independently and as part of a team
• Effective communication skills
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends
