Experienced Diesel Technician
About the role
Sam Galloway Ford is a fourth-generation family-owned dealership established in Lee County since 1927. The company supports various charitable organizations, including the American Cancer Society, the Edison-Ford Winter Estates preservation, and Community Cooperative Ministries (The Soup Kitchen).
Responsibilities
- Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership.
- Test-drive vehicles, and test components and systems, using diagnostic tools and special service equipment.
- Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning, etc.
- Communicate directly with Service Advisor so that customers are informed if any additional service is needed.
- Provide an estimate of time needed for additional repairs.
- Execute repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications.
- Flexible and focused on maintaining a high level of customer service.
- Other duties may be assigned according to skill level and certification.
Qualifications
- Full Job Description: 5 years of Service Technician experience preferred, Ford Certification is a plus
- Mechanical and troubleshooting skills and ability to operate electronic diagnostic equipment
- Positive, friendly attitude, along with an eagerness to improve
- Enjoy working in a fast-paced environment
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Must be able to pass pre-employment testing. Includes background check, MVR, and drug screen

Income ranging from $50,000 - $100,000+
