About the role

Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) is seeking a Core Avionics Engineer (Level 3) to join the Mission Systems Aviate, Navigate, Communicate (ANC) Avionics Team for Avionics development and integration in Berkeley, MO.

Responsibilities

  • Drives technical excellence for Avionics development and integration activities ranging across multiple functional areas including Communication, Navigation & Identification Systems, Timing Distribution Systems, and Stores Management Systems.
  • Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes.
  • Works closely with program managers, program chief engineers and other Boeing Teams.
  • Supports the design of hardware, software and interface specifications.
  • Tests and validates to ensure system designs meet operational and functional requirements.
  • Develops tests to evaluate components and subsystems.
  • Maintains supplier performance to ensure system integration and compliance with requirements.
  • Utilizes Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) practices.

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering (with a focus in Electrical, Mechanical or Aeronautical), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry.
  • Level 3: 5+ years of work-related experience with a bachelor's or 3+ years of work-related experience with a Masters or PhD.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Active US Secret Security Clearance.

  • This position requires ability to obtain program access, for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship only.

Pay

  • Level 3 (Experienced): $112,200 - $151,800.

Schedule

  • This position is for 1st shift.
