About the Role

Boeing is seeking Electronic Systems Design, Analysis, and Test Engineers for current and emerging aerospace programs across the St. Louis region, including Berkeley, MO, Hazelwood, MO, St. Charles, MO, and Mascoutah, IL. This position spans the technology development life cycle, including requirements generation, system design and implementation, integration, and test. You will work on cutting-edge projects such as fighters (F-15, F/A-18, F-22), T-7A trainers, MQ-25, JDAM, and Harpoon, collaborating with cross-functional teams in programs like Air Dominance, Phantom Works, Boeing Global Services, Precision Engagement Systems, and Boeing Test and Evaluation.

This role is 100% onsite, with potential domestic or international travel. A U.S. Security Clearance (Secret or Top-Secret) is required post-start, and U.S. citizenship is mandatory. Special Program Access or other government access requirements may apply. A signing bonus may be available for eligible external candidates.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with the development and documentation of electronic and electrical system requirements based on customer desires and contract requirements.
  • Monitor suppliers' performance to ensure compliance with requirements.
  • Analyze, translate, and implement customer requirements into system architecture, hardware and software designs, and interface specifications, ensuring traceability throughout the product lifecycle.
  • Apply job practices, techniques, standards, principles, theories, and concepts to engineering tasks.
  • Develop or modify basic hardware and software designs based on defined requirements.
  • Perform system tests to verify operational and functional requirements.
  • Assist in resolving product integration issues and production anomalies.
  • Research basic technologies for potential application to internal business strategies.
  • Solve problems concerning fielded hardware and software over the entire product lifecycle.

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, or Aeronautical), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, or equivalent qualifications directly related to the work.
  • Must currently reside in or be willing to relocate to the St. Louis, Missouri region.
  • Ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance (U.S. citizenship required).

Preferred Qualifications

  • Level 1: Bachelor’s degree in the specified fields with technical experience.
  • Level 2: 2+ years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience.
  • Experience in the aerospace industry or on aerospace projects.
  • Strong communication, analytical, and organizational skills, with the ability to work in a team environment.
  • Experience within a design/build or test team.
  • Experience creating, developing, or maintaining engineering processes.
  • Experience with electronic/electrical system designs or test based on requirements.

Pay

Salary ranges are as follows (based on experience, qualifications, and market considerations):

  • Level 1: $73,950 – $100,050
  • Level 2: $91,800 – $124,200
