About the Role

As a Test Engineer at Boeing Intelligence & Analytics (BI&A), you will contribute to cutting-edge development programs and test new solutions for RF signal processing applications, analytics, visualization, and discovery tools. You will evaluate the integration of new and legacy software across various hardware form factors and assess operational system performance requirements for testability and criticality.

Responsibilities

  • Innovate testing for RF signal processing applications.
  • Evaluate the integration of new and legacy software across diverse hardware form factors.
  • Assess operational system performance requirements to frame and prioritize Test & Evaluation (T&E) objectives.
  • Review planned acquisition approaches to align T&E schedules with decision-maker needs.
  • Coordinate with program System Engineering (SE) to leverage functional analysis, system descriptions, parameter selection, and Modeling and Simulation for evaluation planning.
  • Assess operational environments to prioritize evaluation attention, scenario selection, and coordinate user participation in T&E.
  • Plan program- and event-level risk-tailored performance estimation and analysis of system and operational Effectiveness and Suitability metrics.
  • Participate in the T&E Working-level Integrated Product Team (WIPT) for coordination of evaluation plans.
  • Produce Evaluation Plans, Analysis Plans, Data Requirements, Risk Assessments, Evaluation Reports, and Status reports.
  • Plan testing to collect data required for analysis and synchronize T&E events with supported decision points.
  • Design data sampling schemes to optimize information/resource balance and control testing uncertainties.
  • Ensure test readiness, including training participants, equipment readiness, and compliance with security, legal, and privacy arrangements.

Requirements

  • Five (5) years of experience as a Test Engineer on programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Math, Science, Engineering, Statistics, Engineering Management, or a related discipline from an accredited college or university (or four (4) years of additional Test Engineer experience in lieu of a degree).
  • Active TS/SCI with Polygraph Clearance.
  • Demonstrated experience with RF signal processing applications.
  • Experience working directly with Government sponsors to coordinate task implementation.
  • Experience performing pre-deployment testing of new systems, including all system software and hardware releases prior to field deployment.
  • Experience planning and executing testing and data collection, ensuring compliance with security and legal standards.
  • Experience producing Test Plans, Procedures, Reports/Briefings, and Data Management Plans.

Pay

Pay range: $119,000 - $141,000 (based on candidate experience, qualifications, market, and business considerations).

Sign-on bonus up to $15,000 for eligible/qualified candidates.

This position is contingent upon program award.
