Experienced Dealer

Responsibilities

• Deals with a specific table game according to property policies and procedures and in compliance with Gaming regulation.
• Notifies the Box person or Floor Supervisor when decisions pertaining to the game are required.
• Exchanges currency for gaming chips and pays or collects bets according to house rules accurately.
• Notifies the Floor Supervisor or Manager of any disputes or arguments that may arise during the game among players/dealer.
• Analyzes customer play for cheating scams and suspicious variations in play.
• Ensures the safety and security of guests and employees.
• Promotes outstanding guest relations.
• Protects and controls the game.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• A high school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Successfully completed an approved course of study in the game for which licensed as a dealer.
• Proven knowledge and experience on the assigned game required (lengths of experience commensurate with the level of skill required).
• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain valid gaming licenses as determined by the Mississippi Gaming Commission for the position.
• Ability to read simple instructions.
• Knowledge of gaming laws and regulations.
• Good communication skills.
• Ability to perform assigned duties under frequent time pressures in an interruptive environment.
• Ability to perform assigned job duties in an interruptive environment under frequent time pressures.
• Always maintain a pleasant, friendly, and welcoming attitude.
• Have complete knowledge of all events and promotional activities.

Qualifications
