About the role
Ace Handyman Services – located in Greenwood – is seeking skilled Carpenters to join our team. We serve homes and businesses in Hendricks County and surrounding areas, providing quality craftsmanship for repair, maintenance, and remodeling projects.
Responsibilities
- Work out of your home on a full-time or part-time basis.
- Travel to job sites in Hendricks County and nearby areas using your own vehicle.
- Provide quality craftsmanship and customer service.
- Perform tasks in multiple trades such as Carpentry, Tiling, Painting, Drywalling, and light Plumbing and Electrical.
- Estimate and manage projects.
- Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor.
- Pass a background check and drug screen.
Requirements
- Strong work ethic and professional appearance/demeanor.
- Prior track record as a Carpenter/Craftsman, with estimation skills and prior home inspection experience preferred.
- Ability to perform minor electrical and plumbing tasks.
- Own standard set of tools for all trades.
- Own truck or van.
- Valid driver’s license and current residency in Hendricks County.
- Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong documentation and invoicing skills.
- Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and climb up to 25' high.
- Positive interaction with various clients and colleagues.
Qualifications
- Successful prior track record as a Carpenter/Craftsman.
- Ability to perform minor electrical and plumbing tasks.
- Own standard set of tools to perform all trades.
- Own truck or van.
- Current and valid driver’s license.
- Residence within Hendricks County.
- Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong documentation and invoicing skills.
- Professional appearance and demeanor.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and climb up to 25' high.
