Experienced Craftsman / Handyman

About the role

Ace Handyman Services – located in Greenwood – is seeking skilled tradesmen and women to join our team. We provide quality craftsmanship for repair, maintenance, and remodeling projects across Hendricks County and surrounding areas.

Responsibilities

- Work out of your home on your choice of a full-time or part-time basis. - Travel to job sites in Hendricks County and nearby areas using your own truck or van. - Provide quality craftsmanship and customer service. - Receive medical, vacation, paid time off, performance bonuses, vehicle and tool allowance, cell phone reimbursement, company credit card, flexible scheduling, advancement and growth opportunities, regular pay reviews, consistent year-round work, direct deposit, and more!

Requirements

- Strong work ethic, professional appearance and demeanor, and a good overall knowledge of carpentry, tiling, painting, drywalling, and light plumbing and electrical. - Excellent customer service skills, including solid communication and interpersonal abilities. - Ability to perform minor electrical and plumbing tasks. - Own standard set of tools to perform all trades. - Own truck or van. - Valid driver’s license. - Residence within Hendricks County. - Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills. - Professional appearance and demeanor. - Ability to pass a background check and drug screen. - Able to climb ladders up to 25' high and lift up to 75 lbs.

Qualifications

- Successful prior track record as a Carpenter/Craftsman; estimation skills and prior home inspection experience, strongly preferred. - Ability to perform minor electrical and plumbing tasks. - Own standard set of tools to perform all trades. - Own truck or van. - Current and valid driver’s license. - Residence within Hendricks County. - Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills. - Strong documentation and invoicing skills. - Professional appearance and demeanor. - Ability to pass a background check and drug screen. - Able to climb ladders up to 25' high and lift up to 75 lbs.
