Experienced Controls Technician

About the role

Responsible for maintaining and operating control systems in a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and adjust control systems to ensure optimal performance.
• Diagnose and resolve system malfunctions using technical knowledge and troubleshooting skills.
• Collaborate with engineers and other technicians to implement process improvements.
• Document system operations and maintenance activities for record-keeping purposes.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in industrial controls.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as PLC (Programmable Logic Controller).
• Experience with SCADA (Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition) systems.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license required.
• Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends.
• Pass a background check.

Skills

• Knowledge of electrical principles and wiring diagrams.
• Experience with safety protocols in industrial settings.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.

$50,000 - $60,000 annually.

Schedule
