Responsibilities
- Attend births at Centra's Virginia Baptist Hospital, a Baby-Friendly, Magnet Certified facility.
- Provide comprehensive healthcare across the lifespan, including prenatal, labor and birth, and postpartum care.
- Serve a diverse population with gynecologic services such as reproductive and wellness care for women and non-binary individuals.
- Experience with or willingness to learn 1st assist for cesarean birth, circumcisions, IUD/Nexplanon insertion, and Group Prenatal Care.
Requirements
- Willingness to relocate.
- Licensed to practice in Virginia or eligible.
- Current BLS Certification Required, NRP Preferred.
- Minimum 2 years of midwifery experience highly desired and a confidence to practice autonomously.
