EXPERIENCED CDJR Automotive General Manager

SONS CDJR Montgomery, part of the respected SONS Automotive Group, is seeking an experienced CDJR Brand Automotive General Manager to lead our thriving dealership. We are committed to delivering exceptional customer service and high-quality vehicles in a supportive, family-oriented environment.

About the role

As General Manager, you’ll oversee all aspects of our operations, driving efficiency, profitability, and team success. This is an exciting opportunity to lead a dealership that has seen significant growth in recent years.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute strategic plans to meet business objectives.
• Oversee and manage all dealership departments, including sales, service, and finance.
• Set and monitor sales targets for the dealership and team members.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and vendors.
• Analyze market trends and competitor activity to identify growth opportunities.
• Ensure compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements.
• Conduct performance evaluations and provide coaching and support to staff.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• A minimum of 3 years of proven experience as a General Manager in the automotive industry.
• Strong leadership and team-building skills.
• Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
• In-depth knowledge of automotive sales and service operations.
• Proficiency in financial analysis and data-driven decision-making.
• Expertise in customer relationship management systems.
• Proven track record of strong CSI (Customer Satisfaction Index) performance.
• Professional, dependable, and detail-oriented.
• Outstanding customer service skills.
• Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.
