Experienced Bookkeeper/POS (SF Bay Area Applicants Only)

Responsibilities

• Manage weekly payroll to the corporate payroll department
• Process daily deposits and balance the books
• Prepare and submit weekly reports and paperwork
• Provide exceptional customer service and assist with inquiries
• Willingness to perform cashier duties as needed
• Stay informed about weekly advertisements and direct customers to product locations
• Restock inventory, conduct price checks, and return returned products to appropriate shelves

Requirements

• Excellent customer service skills
• Strong analytical and organizational abilities
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
• Knowledge of local market trends and product offerings
• Previous bookkeeping and cash handling experience preferred
• Flexible schedule available to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Ability to lift a minimum of 30 pounds
• Local candidate preference
• At least 18 years old

Qualifications

• Ability to learn and adapt to new technologies
• A willingness to train and assist in other areas of the store

Skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
• Experience with QuickBooks or similar accounting software
• Strong attention to detail
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Pay

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $29.98 per hour, depending on industry experience.
