Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair vehicles across a range of systems — engine, transmission, brakes, electrical, suspension, HVAC, and beyond — using OEM diagnostic platforms and manufacturer procedures.
- Perform multi-point inspections and develop accurate repair plans, communicating findings to service advisors to support guest authorization.
- Execute repairs to factory specifications with speed, accuracy, and zero shortcuts.
- Complete repair orders accurately, documenting all work performed and parts used with precision.
- Stay current on technical service bulletins, software updates, and manufacturer repair procedures.
Requirements
- 2+ years of flat-rate technician experience in a franchised dealership — required.
- Any brand background considered; luxury, import, and domestic experience all valued across the portfolio.
- Strong diagnostic ability and a low comeback rate.
- ASE certifications a strong plus; OEM factory certifications highly valued.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
Pay
$30 - $55/hr flat rate — specific to each store, brand, and experience level. Progressive pay plans reward certifications and tenure over time.
