Experienced Automotive Service Technician

About the role

Diehl of Butler is hiring service technicians. We are looking for experienced technicians, from entry-level to advanced positions. Compensation will be based on experience and expertise.

Responsibilities

• Perform work specified on maintenance and repair orders with efficiency in accordance with dealership and manufacturer standards.
• Diagnose and repair vehicle automotive systems including, engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, air conditioning, braking, etc.
• Explain mechanical diagnostic and required repairs in a non-technical manner to advisors or customers.
• Able to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently.
• Identify problems with vehicles using diagnostic equipment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Requirements

• Valid drivers license (required)
• Level 1 experience required
• ASE certification (preferred)
• Clean driving record (required)
• The ability to work overhead and bent over for long periods of time (required)
