Key Responsibilities
- Assist retail customers, wholesale accounts, and internal service technicians with automotive parts requests.
- Identify, locate, and order the correct parts using electronic parts catalogs and inventory systems.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and accurately tracked parts department inventory.
- Process returns, core credits, and incoming shipments efficiently.
- Provide friendly, knowledgeable, and professional customer service over the phone and at the counter.
Qualifications & Skills
- Experience: Proven experience working as an automotive parts counterperson is required.
- Brand Knowledge: Chevrolet or GM experience is helpful and preferred, but not required.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency with electronic parts catalogs (EPC) and dealership management systems (DMS) is a plus.
- Communication: Strong communication skills with a focus on teamwork and customer satisfaction.
- Reliability: Dependable work ethic with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
