What You’ll Do
- Patient Care & Testing – Perform accurate work-ups (3.5 patients per hour) and key diagnostics:
- Visual acuity
- manual lensometry
- visual fields
- Applanation tonometry
- motility evaluation
- pupil testing
- OCT
- corneal topography
- visual fields
- A/B-scan
- fluorescein angiography
- Surgical & Clinical Support – Assist in minor procedures while maintaining sterile technique
- Patient Flow Management – Keep clinic running smoothly, triage emergencies, handle prescription refills
- Equipment & Admin – Maintain instruments, stock exam rooms, support supply audits
What We’re Looking For
- High school diploma required; college preferred
- 3–5 years’ experience as an Ophthalmic Technician (preferred)
- Certification required: COA, COT, or COMT
- Strong communication, organizational skills, and detail orientation
- Nextech EMR experience a plus
