Experience Designer - HARGROVE
About the Role
An Experience Designer will conceive human-centered design solutions that fulfill strategic business objectives for existing and potential clients. This role involves assisting with conceptual development, articulating integrated physical and digital experience design solutions, and ensuring successful execution of creative deliverables. The position collaborates with the Creative Director and reports to the Group Creative Director.
Responsibilities
- Conceptualize high-quality, medium-complexity experiences and environmental design across multiple channels, understanding how elements function together as part of the integrated customer journey.
- Partner with senior experience designers and creative leads to develop concepts and strategies that translate business priorities into creative output.
- Deliver integrated experiential concepts that solve client problems and add value to their brand experiences and events.
- Participate in internal creative presentations to stakeholders, effectively representing concepts and solutions to influence client sell-through.
- Uphold the highest creative standards and ensure the highest quality of work.
- Visualize concepts using tools and methods such as 3D modeling/rendering, control drawings, photo compositing, mood boards, storyboards, and written treatments.
- Share examples of design excellence with the Creative department and provide consultation as a design expert for all Encore & Hargrove work.
- Maintain a close understanding of industry trends and forecast design direction to keep content current and innovative.
- Learn and grow technical abilities as new methods and software emerge.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, collaborating with a cross-discipline team of creatives, including video directors, scenic designers, creative directors, presentation designers, copywriters, creative technologists, and social strategists.
- Adhere to standard operating procedures for artwork deliverables, content organization, and scope of work development.
- Organize and maintain workstation for efficient operation, including file organization and backups.
- Communicate project progress to internal parties and ensure on-time, on-budget delivery of all projects.
Requirements
- BFA/BS degree in environmental design, architecture, graphic design, or a related field.
- 3+ years of design and creative experience with working knowledge of creative and strategic disciplines.
- A portfolio demonstrating integrated and experiential design across a range of mediums.
- Hands-on knowledge of environmental design, branding, trade show, or human-centered design disciplines.
- Demonstrated end-to-end ability to take designs from concept to execution.
- Experience working within a larger creative team and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.
- Working proficiency in 3D Studio MAX, Vray, Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, InDesign, PowerPoint, and Keynote or similar programs.

Work Environment
Work is performed primarily in an office environment. Working times may include irregular hours and on-call status, including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays. Team members must adhere to appearance guidelines as defined by Encore, both in the office and when traveling or representing venues.
Pay
Pay Range: $85,881.00 - $105,204.00. The compensation offered for this role is determined based on qualifications, location, travel, relevant work experience, and particular skills. Final compensation may include potential overtime, bonuses, or incentives.
