Experience Design Strategist (Architectural)

About the role
The Experience Design Strategist will collaborate closely with studio leadership, architectural and interior designers, graphic designers, and subject-matter experts to co-author materials focused on exploring and identifying novel opportunities for our clients, their business, and their customers across a variety of project types. This role involves conducting research, participating in client workshops and discovery sessions, developing strategic narratives, proposing design direction, and writing for brands, organizations, or customer-facing outlets. This position is tailored for a strategist with professional experience in interior or architectural design.
Responsibilities
- Work closely with the design team and external clients to understand their needs and translate them into design solutions.
- Present and communicate design concepts effectively to clients.
- Conduct research to gather insights and inspiration for design projects.
- Provide feedback on details in every aspect of design to ensure optimal user experience.
- Work with the design team to continuously refine and improve design elements to create memorable experiences.
- Stay updated on market trends, consumer behavior, and emerging technologies relevant to experience design.

- B.Arch or B.A. in Interior Design.
- 3+ years of post-graduate experience in a similar role.
- Stellar presentation and copywriting skills.
- Strong documentation skills using Google Slides, Adobe InDesign, and MS PowerPoint.
- Experience with 3D modeling software and spatial design knowledge.
- Experience with collaborative work platforms like Miro or Mural.
- Ability to work independently and with multi-disciplinary teams.
- Experience self-managing deadlines and tasks.
- Experience working with established brands in retail, hospitality, entertainment, education, or healthcare industries is a plus.
Schedule
This is a hybrid role requiring a 3-day in-person commitment at our New York studio and 2 days remote.
Pay
Salary range: $90,000 - $105,000.
