Experience Design Strategist (Architectural)

About the role
The Experience Design Strategist will collaborate closely with studio leadership, architectural and interior designers, graphic designers, and subject-matter experts to co-author materials focused on exploring and identifying novel opportunities for our clients, their business, and their customers across a variety of project types. The design strategist conducts research, participates in client workshops and discovery sessions, develops strategic narratives, proposes design direction, and writes for brands, organizations, or customer-facing outlets. This role is geared towards a strategist with professional experience in interior or architectural design.
Responsibilities
- Work closely with the design team and external clients to understand their needs and translate them into design solutions.
- Present and communicate design concepts effectively to clients.
- Conduct research to gather insights and inspiration for design projects.
- Provide feedback on details in every aspect of design to ensure optimal user experience.
- Work with the design team to continuously refine and improve design elements to create memorable experiences.
- Stay updated on market trends, consumer behavior, and emerging technologies relevant to experience design.

- B.Arch or B.A. in Interior Design
- 3+ years of post-graduate experience in a similar role
- Experience working in the interior design/architectural industry to inform design from the lens of the experience
- Experience working with established brands in retail, hospitality, entertainment, education, or healthcare industries is a plus
Skills
- Stellar presentation and copywriting skills
- Strong documentation skills using Google Slides, Adobe InDesign, and MS PowerPoint
- Experience with 3D modeling software and spatial design knowledge
- Experience with collaborative work platforms like Miro or Mural
- Experience working independently and with multi-disciplinary teams
- Ability to self-manage deadlines and tasks
Location
This opportunity is located at our Broadway Studio in New York. This position involves a hybrid work arrangement, incorporating both a 2-day remote and a 3-day in-person commitment in our New York studio. On this occasion, we can only consider applications from those fully authorized to work in the U.S.
Pay
Salary Range: $90,000 - $105,000
