About the role
Home Helpers Home Care of Olney is looking to expand its Caregiver family. We are hiring kind, compassionate, and dedicated CNAs and GNAs who bring their passion to work. This is a part-time position for a caregiver in Olney or Burtonsville, as the client may move home.
Schedule
Monday through Thursday from 11:30 AM–3:30 PM.
Responsibilities
- Personal Care (bathing, dressing, and transfers)
- Meal preparation
- Light housekeeping
- Monitor and report physical and behavioral changes
- Assist with medication reminders
- Assist with ambulation
- Monitor BP and glucose levels
Requirements
- Current CPR and First Aid Certification
- Current CNA license
- Valid driver's license and auto insurance
- Reliable transportation
- Good oral and written communication skills
- Ability to understand care plans and assessments
- Current doctor's medical health clearance to work, including a negative TB Test
