About the Role

Join our team of big mountain adventurers at Crystal Mountain, the largest ski resort in Washington. As an Expeditor/Food Runner in the Summit House Food & Beverage department, you'll play an essential role in ensuring smooth communication and service between the kitchen and front of house. This position is perfect for hard-working, enthusiastic team players looking to grow their skills in the ski industry while enjoying the unique mountain lifestyle.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate timing of food preparation between kitchen and front of house teams
• Inspect plated dishes for presentation, completeness, and adherence to order specifications
• Ensure all required accompaniments, modifications, and dietary requests are fulfilled for each order
• Deliver food to tables promptly using proper service etiquette when servers are not available
• Communicate clearly with guests when presenting dishes
• Assist servers with set up and pre-opening work
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the expo line and service stations
• Monitor ticket times and escalate delays or issues
• Support kitchen and service staff to maintain efficient workflow during service
• Assist with stocking service areas and completing side work
• Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Must ski or snowboard at an intermediate level
• Able to lift, carry, or otherwise move and position a minimum of 20 pounds on an occasional basis
• Ability to work extended periods bending, reaching, speaking, standing, walking, kneeling, pushing, and pulling
• Must be able to work days, evenings, weekends, and holidays while in operation
• Strong communication skills for interacting with guests, supervisors, and other employees

$17.13 per hour plus tips
