About the role

Expedites delivery of electronic components within established guidelines and processes. Reviews reports, analyzes data, and develops productive solutions for expediting product delivery. Communicates with vendors and internal teams to relay delivery needs and information. Supports the total quality process and maintains a positive attitude in a customer service oriented environment.

Responsibilities

• Contact vendors via e-mail, phone, and online portals.
• Communicate with vendors to obtain product or service information such as availability and delivery schedule.
• Communicate internally with other Mouser teams including customer service, purchasing, and others as needed.
• Review reports and analyze data to develop solutions for expediting product delivery.
• Represent Mouser Electronics in direct dealings with vendors.
• Regular attendance at work is an essential function of the job.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years post high school experience including minimum 1 year of Inventory Operations experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Skills

• PC experience in a Microsoft Windows environment; proficient with internet, e-mail, Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and other software.
• Ability to use, read, and interpret spreadsheets, printed reports, and terminal screens.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
• Proficient in written and oral business communications.
• Clear enunciation of English and a courteous telephone voice and phone hearing.
