About the Role

The expeditor is the link between our kitchen and the customer. Expeditors ensure orders are prepared in a timely manner, meet Nando’s standards, and reach the right customer. They also prepare and package take-out orders and serve as the final interaction with this important customer base.

Expeditors must be organized, efficient, professional, polite, and reliable. Our expeditors are quick and efficient while remaining warm and gracious guides to our restaurants. They work with the team to exceed guests’ expectations and deliver the Nando’s experience.

Responsibilities

• Take direction and work in a team environment
• Work calmly and effectively under pressure
• Maintain commitment to quality service and food/beverage knowledge
• Follow safety, sanitation, and food handling procedures
• Communicate professionally in English

Physical Requirements

• Able to independently lift up to 15 lbs for extended periods
• Stand, walk, and climb stairs with food items and dishes throughout your shift
• Walk and/or stand for 8-10 hours per day
• Hand-eye coordination
• Reaching, bending, twisting, stooping
• Pushing and pulling
• Lifting overhead
• Climb stairs in restaurants with multiple levels
