About the role
The role involves managing inventory, loading and unloading shipments, and ensuring timely delivery of goods.
Responsibilities
- Manage inventory levels and order supplies as needed
- Load and unload vehicles, including trucks and trailers, to transport goods
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies
- Communicate with customers and suppliers to resolve issues and improve service
- Perform routine maintenance on equipment used in the role
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver’s license
- Experience in logistics or related field preferred
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Qualifications
- Physical ability to lift and move heavy objects
- Knowledge of basic computer operations
- Understanding of supply chain management principles
