Expanded Function Dental Assistant - Temporary

Responsibilities

• Maintain medical records
• Perform X-ray procedures
• Periodontal charting
• Prepare instruments
• Assist with preventive and orthodontic treatments
• Ensure infection control protocols
• Provide oral hygiene education

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED
• BLS certification within 90 days
• E-FDA certification within 90 days
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) at a high level
• Knowledge of dental terminology, materials, and infection control
• Manual dexterity and coordination
• Proficiency in computer programs including Electronic Dental Records, Outlook, Word, and Excel
