Expanded Function Dental Assistant - Temporary

Responsibilities

• Maintain patient records
• Perform X-ray procedures
• Periodontal charting
• Prepare instruments
• Deliver preventive care such as polishing and fluoride treatments
• Educate patients on oral hygiene
• Assist with orthodontic tasks
• Ensure infection control protocols are followed

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED
• EFDA certification
• BLS certification within 90 days
• Bilingual skills in English and Spanish at a high level
• Basic knowledge of dental terminology, materials, infection control, and computer skills
