Expanded Function Dental Assistant - Relief - Part Time

Responsibilities

• Maintaining and updating patient records, including medical history and vital signs
• Performing comprehensive X-ray procedures and managing digital images
• Assisting with periodontal charting, preparing instruments, and supporting patient exams
• Mixing materials with infection control protocols, delivering preventative periodontal treatments, and educating patients on oral hygiene
• Supporting infection control programs, sterilizing instruments, and assisting with orthodontic procedures
• Acting as a Lead to manage department flow, train staff, and handle scheduling and staffing needs
• Performing other clinical duties aligned with regulatory standards

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED
• BLS certification within 90 days, EFDA certification within 90 days
• Optional bilingual (English/Spanish) skills, with additional pay
• Knowledge of dental terminology, infection control, and digital records
• Manual dexterity and professional interaction skills
• Proficiency in EDR, Outlook, Word, and Excel
