About the role
Supports dental procedures, maintains patient records, and ensures infection control standards.
Responsibilities
- Perform X-rays, intraoral photographs, and periodontal charting.
- Prepare instruments, materials, and assist during patient exams.
- Provide preventative care such as polishing, fluoride treatments, and sealants.
- Educate patients on oral hygiene and assist in Orthodontic procedures when needed.
- Manage department workflow, train staff, and act as a liaison as a Lead.
- Ensure compliance with healthcare standards and protocols.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED, EFDA certification.
- BLS certification within 90 days.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) proficiency.
- Knowledge of dental terminology, materials, infection control, and computer skills with dental records.
- Strong manual dexterity and ability to interact professionally with diverse patients and staff.
