Key Responsibilities

  • Maintaining and updating patient records, including medical history and vital signs.
  • Conducting X-ray procedures, developing images, and managing electronic dental records.
  • Performing periodontal charting, preparing instruments, and assisting during patient exams.
  • Applying preventive periodontal treatments such as polish, fluoride, and sealants.
  • Providing oral hygiene education and assisting with infection control protocols.
  • Supporting orthodontic procedures and acting as a lead in department operations when needed.
  • Ensuring clinical compliance with accreditation standards and maintaining sterile environments.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • EFDA certification within 90 days of employment.
  • Bilingual English/Spanish at a high proficiency level.
  • Basic knowledge of dental terminology, materials, and infection control.
  • Strong manual dexterity, communication skills, and proficiency with dental software.
