Expanded Function Dental Assistant - Relief

About the role

Support expanded access to dental care by performing advanced clinical duties, supporting providers chairside, maintaining patient records, and assisting with procedures such as radiographs, periodontal charting, and instrument preparation. Deliver preventive and restorative care, including periodontal treatments, patient education, and infection control. Assist with orthodontic tasks, sterilize instruments, and ensure compliance with safety protocols.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• Oregon EFDA certification within 90 days
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 90 days
• Bilingual skills preferred
• Knowledge of dental terminology, infection control, and basic computer skills
• Strong manual dexterity and professional interpersonal skills
