Expanded Duty Dental Assistant - Steckler Pediatric Dentistry

Steckler Pediatric Dentistry is seeking an experienced EDDA (Expanded Duties Dental Assistant) to join our full-time team immediately.

Responsibilities

• Assist the dentist during procedures, including making temporary crowns and taking impressions.
• Capture and process X-rays of patients.
• Sterilize equipment and maintain a clean environment.
• Perform coronal polishing procedures to maintain optimal oral health and place restorations.
• Update and maintain accurate dental records and charts.
• Assist with setup and cleaning of treatment rooms.

Requirements

• EDDA Certification: You must be a certified Expanded Duties Dental Assistant.
• X-Ray Certification: Proficiency in dental X-ray procedures.
• Experience: Ideally, 1-2 years of experience as an EDDA.
• Coronal Polishing Skills: Preferred but not mandatory.
