Expanded Duties Dental Assistant

Responsibilities

• Aid the dental team in delivering high-quality patient care.
• Set up treatment areas, sterilize equipment, and keep the office clean and organized.
• Provide patients with oral hygiene education and post-procedure care instructions.
• Support dentists during procedures, anticipating their needs and facilitating smooth workflows.
• Accurately manage appointment scheduling and maintain patient records.

Qualifications

• At least 2-3 years of previous dental assisting experience.
• Exceptional organizational skills with a meticulous attention to detail.
• Strong communication abilities and a friendly, caring demeanor.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in dental software and technology is preferred.

Requirements

• Georgia residents must have a CPR certification.
• Georgia residents must hold an Expanded Duties Dental Assistant (EDDA) certification.
• Georgia residents must provide proof of formal training to expose X-rays.
