Expanded Duties Dental Assistant

Responsibilities

• Aid the dental team in delivering high-quality patient care.
• Set up treatment areas, sterilize equipment, and keep the environment clean and tidy.
• Provide patients with advice on maintaining good oral hygiene and post-procedure care.
• Support dentists during procedures, anticipating their needs and facilitating smooth workflow.
• Accurately schedule appointments and manage patient records.

Qualifications

• At least 2-3 years of relevant dental assisting experience.
• Exceptional organizational skills with a meticulous attention to detail.
• Strong verbal and written communication abilities, along with a friendly and caring demeanor.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced setting.
• Proficiency in dental software and technology is preferred.

Requirements

• Georgia residents must have:
• CPR Certification.
• Expanded Duties Dental Assistant (EDDA) certification.
• Proof of formal training to expose X-rays.
