About the Florida Art Museum Directors Association
The Florida Art Museum Directors Association (FAM) is a professional organization dedicated to supporting and advancing the field of museum management in Florida. Founded in 1978, FAM provides a platform for museum directors to share best practices, network, and advocate for the arts.
Responsibilities
- Attend monthly meetings and annual conferences
- Participate in committees and task forces
- Collaborate on initiatives that benefit the museum community
- Support FAM's advocacy efforts for arts funding and preservation
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in museum administration
- Active membership in FAM
- Commitment to attending all meetings and events
