What You Will Do
- Aids in the care of the cardiac patient in multiple modalities.
- Provides all patient care in the Cardiovascular department, where appropriate.
- Performs graded exercise evaluations.
- Places/educates patients on cardiac monitors.
- Performs EKGs.
- Maintains monitoring and identifies EKG rhythms.
- Provides lifestyle modification and education, where appropriate.
What You Will Need
- Bachelor’s in Fitness/Sports Studies Required.
- Bachelor of Science in one of the following areas: Kinesiology, Exercise Science, Health Human Performance & Recreation, Exercise Physiology.
- Minimum License: BLS (CPR), ACLS.
- Exercise Specialist degree, must have ACSM and ACLS within 1 year of hire.
- Previous internship in Cardiovascular Diagnostics/Cardiac Rehab Program.
