Exercise Planner
Job Description
IDS is seeking an Exercise Planner to support the planning, coordination, and execution of cyber training events and exercises. The selected candidate will work with stakeholders to develop exercise objectives, coordinate resources, manage schedules, and ensure successful execution of training activities. This position requires strong project management skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while supporting cybersecurity training initiatives within the Department of Defense community. The ideal candidate will be capable of working independently and collaboratively to develop and deliver realistic and effective cyber training events.
Key Duties
- Plan, coordinate, and execute cyber training events and exercises
- Manage multiple projects with varying scopes, requirements, and timelines
- Develop exercise timelines, milestones, and supporting documentation
- Cooky with stakeholders to ensure training objectives are achieved
- Support the design and execution of cyber training scenarios
- Track exercise planning activities and ensure deliverables are completed on schedule
- Cooky with internal and external participants to support exercise execution
- Aid in resource coordination and scheduling for training events
- Monitor project progress and provide status updates to leadership
- Support after-action reviews and exercise improvement efforts
Requirements
- Must have an Active Secret clearance
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to plan, execute, and manage cyber training scenarios effectively
- The ability to work independently and in a team environment with minimal supervision
- Experience in planning and managing cybersecurity training events within the DoD community
