EXERCISE PHYSIOLOGIST I CARDIAC REHAB, FH - CARDIAC REHAB

About the role

Responsible for monitoring, evaluating, and educating patients receiving Intensive Cardiac Rehabilitation (ICR), Cardiac Rehabilitation (CR), Pulmonary Rehabilitation (PR), and Supervised Exercise Therapy for Peripheral Artery Disease (SET for PAD), chronic disease management, and primary and secondary prevention programming.

Schedule

• FTE: 0.750000 (Standard Hours: 30.00)
• Shift: Shift 1 — various shifts, Monday through Friday 0630-1700, FMLH and MRHC
• Holidays: as scheduled
• Weekends: none

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Clinical Exercise Physiology or related field (required)
• American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support for the Healthcare Provider (BLS) or AHA approved equivalent (required within 90 days)
• American Heart Association (AHA) Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) (required within one year of hire)

Qualifications

• Internship in a cardiopulmonary rehabilitation program (preferred)
• Master's degree in Clinical Exercise Physiology or related field (preferred)
• Participation in State and/or National Professional Organization (preferred)
• ACSM Exercise Specialist and/or Registered Clinical Exercise Physiologist certification (preferred)
