Exercise Physiologist

Job Summary

Required Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science or other appropriate health major with ACSM Certified Clinical Exercise Physiologist certification or AACVPR Certified Cardiac Rehabilitation Professional Certification; and/or Master’s degree in clinical exercise science with ACSM Certified Clinical Exercise Physiologist certification or AACVPR Certified Cardiac Rehabilitation Professional Certification.
• Licenses: ACSM Certified Clinical Exercise Physiologist certification or AACVPR Certified Cardiac Rehabilitation Professional Certification for Bachelor’s Degree; BLS certification
• Experience: 300 hours or more of cardiac and/or pulmonary rehabilitation program

PREFERRED Qualifications

• Licenses: ACSM Certified Clinical Exercise Physiologist certification or AACVPR Certified Cardiac Rehabilitation Professional Certification for Master’s Degree; BLS certification
• Experience: 2000 hours of cardiac and/or pulmonary rehabilitation program

What You Will Need

• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• Bachelors Degree (EXERCISE) Exercise Specialist/Physiologist, or (AACVRP-CCRP) Certified Cardiac Rehab Professional must be obtained within 1 year of employment start date
