Exercise Physiologist

About the role
Responsible for assessing, coordinating, developing and evaluating Phase I and II exercise programs for Outpatient Cardiac Rehab Patients. Assists with patients in identification and modification of coronary risk factors and provides ongoing support and self-management education for patients and families.
This position is Per Diem and will work 8-hour, Day shifts.
Responsibilities
- Assess, coordinate, develop, and evaluate Phase I and II exercise programs for Outpatient Cardiac Rehab Patients.
- Assist patients in identifying and modifying coronary risk factors.
- Provide ongoing support and self-management education for patients and families.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Exercise Science.
- Knowledge of cardiac medications, basic arrhythmia recognition, and lifestyle management education.
- National Provider BLS certification from the American Heart Association (upon hire).
- 1 year of Cardiac Rehab Exercise Program experience.
Qualifications
- Graduate degree in Exercise Science (preferred).

Pay
The pay range for this position is $27.92 - $42.73 per hour. These amounts are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
