About the role
The Executive Vice President (EVP) of Talent Operations (HR) will lead the Human Resources Department at the Charlotte Housing Authority (CHA), responsible for over 180 employees. Reporting to the CEO, this role is based in Charlotte, NC.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement people-focused and solution-driven approaches to human capital processes.
- Identify tools, systems, and resources needed to deliver an exceptional experience for employees.
- Create and maintain engaging policies and initiatives.
- Partner with executive leadership to develop strategic initiatives.
- Work with and service all levels of the organization, building strong partnerships internally and externally.
- Multi-task, prioritize, and manage multiple conflicting priorities against competing deadlines.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree and at least 10 years of human resources generalist experience, including HR administration, recruitment, employee relations, compensation and benefits, and training.
- At least 5 years of HR management experience.
- Master’s Degree is desirable.
- Prior experience working in the public sector is desirable.
- Professional in Human Resources certification (PHR) or Senior Professional in Human Resources certification (SPHR) preferred.
