About the role

The role of a Service & Engagement Executive Team Leader involves:

  • Building a team of passionate and knowledgeable Guest Advocates and Service and Engagement Leaders.
  • Driving total store sales and understanding how your departments and team contribute to store profitability.
  • Anticipating staffing needs, talent planning, and recruiting both long and short-term.
  • Maintaining a culture of accountability through clear expectations and performance management.
  • Managing schedules to support peak traffic times, key holiday events, and weekends.
  • Ensuring a frictionless guest experience during high traffic times for various shopping preferences.
  • Leading the team to deliver an efficient and hassle-free guest pick-up experience.
  • Working flexible hours including early mornings, evenings, and weekends.

Responsibilities

Requirements

To be considered for this role, candidates should:

  • Have a 4-year degree or equivalent experience.
  • Have strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Have strong business acumen.
  • Be able to manage conflict, lead, and hold others accountable.
  • Relate well with and interact with all levels of the organization.
  • Have strong cognitive skills, including problem analysis, decision making, financial and quantitative analysis.
  • Be able to learn and adapt to current technology needs.
  • Manage workload and prioritize tasks independently and with a team.

Qualifications

Candidates should possess:

  • Knowledge of guest service fundamentals and experience building and managing a guest-first team culture.
  • Skills in guest engagement, problem-solving, and resolution.
  • Experience in retail business fundamentals including department sales trends, inventory management, guest shopping patterns, pricing, and promotions strategies.
  • Experience setting and planning department workload to support business priorities and managing a team to deliver service and sales goals.
  • Experience recruiting, selecting, and talent managing hourly team members and leaders.
