About the role

The role of a Human Resources Executive Team Leader at Target involves a variety of responsibilities aimed at driving business growth, fostering a positive work environment, and ensuring guest satisfaction.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver guest experience commitments and hold Team Leaders accountable for exceptional guest experiences.
  • Review and analyze area metrics to identify gaps and behaviors, and celebrate wins and set clear priorities.
  • Create and manage HR strategies and goals, and navigate federal, state, and local employment laws.
  • Recruit, select, and manage hourly team members and leaders, and support business leaders in growing the business and developing their teams.
  • Develop and coach HR Team Leaders to elevate the skills and expertise of the team, and anticipate and identify current and future trends and needs of the team.
  • Plan and manage programs related to culture, pay, and benefits to maximize team member engagement and minimize business disruption.
  • Support organizational and operational change by focusing on HR priorities, practices, and impact, and promote a culture where teams love to work and guests love to shop.
  • Assume store-level leadership on duty responsibilities, and implement all safe and secure training and processes.
  • Lead investigations to address and resolve concerns, and report and investigate injuries timely and accurately.
  • Lead an instore security culture and merchandise protection strategies, and establish a culture of accountability through clear expectations and performance management.

Qualifications

  • A 4-year degree or equivalent experience.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Comfortable dealing with ambiguity and managing conflict.
  • Ability to communicate on multiple frequency devices and operate handheld scanners, and other technology equipment as directed.
  • Manage workload and prioritize tasks independently.
  • A welcoming and helpful attitude towards all guests and other team members.

Pay and Schedule

The pay range for this role is $64,000.00 - $128,000.00, which is based on several factors including labor markets, education, work experience, and certifications. For more details, see the benefits section or visit this link.

Schedule

This role requires a flexible work schedule, including nights, weekends, overnights, holidays, closing shifts, and other peak shopping times. Reliable and prompt attendance is necessary.
